Willall WR35MS GTR Water Misting Cooling System
One of the highly efficient ways of assisting GTR cooling is via use of a fine mist of water directed onto both the factory (or aftermarket) oil cooler and (aftermarket) front transmission cooler core. It doesn’t matter whether it’s a Willall Racing or some other brand cooler, the WR35MS water misting system can improve cooling efficiency out of sight.
Heart of the WR35MS system are these ‘Misting Blocks’ which incorporate two fine misting jets that are designed to clip over the factory GTR front bar cutouts without any additional adhesive, and supply a fresh and cool mist over the cooling cores to drop temperatures by up to and over 20F.
Water usage varies with the track conditions but on a typical two minute length lap expect to use no more than half a quart of water with the WR35MS cooling system running full time. Coming with a two gallon trunk mounted reservoir there is a serious number of laps between refills.
Controlling the WR35MS system is a timer circuit that runs the water misters for an adjustable time base (from 5 seconds through 30 seconds) once the brake pedal has been activated and released. This way the water mist can be delivered when it is needed most, as the GTR is heading onto a straightaway at high road speeds.
Utilizing the same rear mounted water tank as the WR35WS Brake Water Spray system the WR35MS Mist Cooling system can be either integrated with WR35WS or used as a stand alone product that is simple to install and comes complete with all of the required parts and mounting kit.
